🦋 You are the Context
In my previous newsletter, I wrote about my willingness to look at life’s happenings in all its seeming messiness. That state of messiness is my small self, my ego. Then how does one transcend this identification with the ego?
Dr. David Hawkins’ teachings help. First, there is no such thing as the ego. The ego is only the tendency of energies to form a structure. Second, the ego can be undone via meditation, contemplation, and prayer. Avoid medications!
“You are the context rather than the content. You are that from which awareness radiates and out of which consciousness arises. The source is consciousness itself. The light of God is consciousness. The light of God is your own consciousness and as you let go misidentifying with that which you are not, it becomes stunningly apparent.”
~ David R. Hawkins, MD, PhD.

Be one with the field. The willingness to surrender all to God. It means the love for God is enough that you’re willing to surrender everything that stands in the way of realizing the presence of nonduality, the Self (capital ‘S’). We take the field for granted. We take consciousness for granted. Yet, you are the context and always have been.
God Bless!
